Bar Association Center on Children and the Law
A program of the American Bar Young Lawyers Division which advocates for children in the courts. Useful,
interactive resource tool for lawyers, judges and other child advocates. Upcoming conferences of interest
are also featured plus a tip of the month on child welfare law.
Battered Women's Legal Advocacy Project (BWLAP)
BWLAP is a state-wide program that serves battered women, their advocates, attorneys and the general public in Minnesota. They also have a stalking hotline and resources for victims.

of Justice Statistics (BJS)
From the U.S. Department of Justice, statistical site on crimes and victims, criminal offenders, firearms and
crime, and criminal justice. Good information on the justice system including law enforcement, prosecution,
courts and sentencing, corrections, and expenditure and employment.
Center for the
Prevention of Sexual and Domestic Violence
An interreligious educational resource addressing issues of sexual and domestic violence and child abuse. The
emphasis is on education and prevention.
Anna Marie's Alliance
This site provides information on support and resources for victims of domestic
violence in Central Minnesota including Anna Marie's, an emergency shelter for
domestic violence victims and their children.

National Coalition
Against Domestic Violence (NACDV)
The NACDV is dedicated to the empowerment of domestic violence victims and their

elimination of personal and societal violence in the lives of women and children.
In addition to a variety of information, the coalition provides
phone numbers on services available throughout the United States.

Incest National Network (RAINN)
The RAINN website contains facts and statistics as well as information on what you can do if you've been a victim of sexual
assault. You can search for crisis centers throughout the nation or call their 24-hour hotline. Online, confidential
counseling is also available.
Stalking Resource Center
The National Center works to raise awareness about stalking and to foster multidisciplinary responses in communities nationwide
Women's Center of Mid-Minnesota
A 24-hour emergency shelter for battered women and their children. Also includes the Alex and Brandon Child Safety Center for supervised parenting time and safe exchange of children.
WINGS Family Support Services
WINGS has a transitional housing program for victims of domestic violence. They also have a supervised parenting time and safe exchange program.
Violence Prevention Initiative of Morrison County
The mission of the Violence Prevention Council of Morrison County is to increase awareness and prevent partner violence by nurturing secure, loving, trusting and healthy relationships built upon equality, open communication and respect.
