Hope Connection Safety Center
"Hope Connection Safety Center"
Each day judges who consider visitation and exchange arrangements for families in which domestic
violence has been prevalent must decide how best to facilitate parent-child access while
ensuring the safety of vulnerable parents and children. The Hope Connection Safety Center will
provide an invaluable option to the courts and a crucial service for families.
Hope Connection Safety Center will offer supervised visits and exchanges services for children
victimized by domestic violence. Our primary goal is to keep mothers and children safe during
exchanges by having children go from one parent to the other without parents having contact.
Also to keep children safe when visitation is ordered in domestic violence cases, to provide a
child-friendly and supervised setting where children can visit with non-custodial parents, to
guard children from parental conflict, and to be a part of a comprehensive community response to
family violence.
While our primary service area is Morrison County, we will not deny families outside the county
from accessing our services; we have hopes to provide services to families who are in need of a
mid-point location for visitations and exchanges.
