HOW CAN I HELP?

Hope Connection Safety Center is planning to develop a volunteer component to the program. Volunteers will be recruited and trained to assist in supervised visits and exchanges. We have plans to recruit interns/volunteers from surrounding colleges and volunteers from various community groups. Hands of Hope Resource Center currently has a volunteer advocate program, which consists of about 17 advocates. There primarily responsibility is taking crisis line calls during the office closed hours. These advocates will also be asked if they would like to volunteer to work in the safety center. The primary responsibility of the volunteers in the visitation and exchange center is assisting staff with the supervised exchanges and visitation. A monthly schedule is made out to insure that one volunteer and one staff person is on duty during all times. If interested in learning more about volunteering contact us at www.advocates@littlefalls.net.
