TRAINING FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS
Speakers are available on a wide range of topics to help meet community needs: service clubs and
civic groups, church groups, adult education classes, parenting groups, employee groups, etc.
Topics can include:
- General agency information
- Dynamics of Abusive Relationships
- Information about battering, sexual assault, child abuse,
and/or general crime in our area
- Parenting information
- How to recognize signs of abuse
- Services available at Hands of Hope Resource Center
- Statistics -- local, state, national
- What people can do to help
- Volunteering opportunities with Hands of Hope
- Safe House Program
- Financial needs of the program
- Other related information as requested
