January is Stalking Awareness Month

Hands of Hope Resource Center would like to raise awareness in our communities about Stalking during the month of January.

Stalking is a crime. Stalking can be defined as a course of conduct directed at a specific person that would cause a reasonable person to feel fear.

This year Hands of Hope Resource Center is hoping to provide for victims of stalking, a "Stalking Kit". In each kit will be the following:

Disposible Camera for documentation.
Flashlight to help in assessing safety at night.
Journal & Pen for documenting of incidents including dates and times.
Information for further resources.
